Trisa was not just my mother. She was someone special to so many different people, all across the USA. She was a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a niece, a friend, and so much more. I may have been her only biological child, but I was most certainly not her only child. Sometimes I wonder whether that distinction was even important to her because she dearly loved all of her children. Christopher, Michael, and Daniel were her sons. Heather was her daughter. She loved them as her children, and I loved them as my brothers and sister. And I still do. Honestly, there are man…
